2018’s Best upcoming Comedy Movies

If you want to ensure your year is filled with plenty of belly laughs, you will be happy to learn
there are some fantastic comedy movies hitting the silver screen in the not-so distant future. Give
yourself something to look forward to by checking out the best comedy movies coming to a big
screen near you in 2018.

Nasty Women
2018 is almost certainly the year of the woman, as all-female casts are leading the way on the
silver screen. If you’re still reeling from Ocean’s 8 and Ghostbuster’s, you should grab tickets to
Nasty Women this August, which stars Anne Hathaway and the scene-stealing Rebel Wilson.
Both women play two con artists in the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels remake, which originally starred
Michael Caine and Steve Martin.

Of course, this isn’t the only comedy you’ve got to look forward to from Rebel Wilson, as she’s
set to star in the romantic comedy Isn’t It Romantic. However, if you can’t wait until then for
another laugh, you should check out this hilarious clip of Rebel creating her own Celine Dion
music video.

Night School
Hitting cinemas this September is Night School, which tells the story of a man (Kevin Hart) who
attempts to gain his GED after he accidentally blows up his workplace. If this wasn’t hard
enough, he’s forced to mix with a group of misfit students, while proving to his teacher that he’s
smart enough to pass.

While Kevin Hart is bound to provide plenty of laughs from start to finish, the talented comedian
and actor recently stated he has a serious side away from the bright lights and camera. It turns
out the comedy actor is determined to master poker, as he’s constantly working on his skillset to
become a better player.

Blackkklansman
While you might not put comedy and the KKK in the same bracket, Spike Lee has managed to
combine the two to create Blackkklansman. The visionary director has brought the incredible
true story of Ron Stallworth to the big screen, providing equal parts of both drama and comedy.

Stallworth, played by John David Washington, made a name for himself within the Colorado
Springs Police Department by becoming the first African-American to infiltrate and ultimately
expose the Ku Klux Klan. The movie also stars the comedically-gifted Topher Grace, who plays
David Duke, who was the Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a movie to watch with friends, family, or your spouse, this is one flick you’ll be glad you bought tickets to in 2018.

The Spy Who Dumped Me
Mila Kunis has teamed up with SNL’s Kate McKinnon to star in The Spy Who Dumped Me. It follows the story of two best friends who become weirdly entangled in an international conspiracy, as they learn that one of their ex-boyfriends was a spy, hence the movie title. The all-female lead will not only cause you to laugh out loud, but there are many impressive action scenes that will force you onto the edge of your seat.

With the likes of I Feel Pretty, Life of the Party, and Hotel Transylvania already hitting cinemas,
2018 has certainly brought plenty of laughs to audiences across the world, and it appears there’s
no plans to stop anytime soon.
