HOLY REDCOATS! Finally, two of the biggest mysteries of the whole series have been revealed. We now know that Allison is alive, without question, and…EZRA IS A. Considering his lack of boundaries given the whole dating underage thing it’s not that far off the pitch, but really, REALLY! FINALLY! Let’s back up and take a look at how this one-two punch came to be delivered.
Never one to disappoint, we started off with some presents from “A.” A four-pack of threatening eight-balls, followed by a creepy Mona doll in a coffin were the gems that kicked us off. “Find Mona before the cops or they’ll think you killed her,” read the text from “A.” Um, psycho. But before getting into it, we have to get into it, romantically speaking. Aria and Jake’s date was a bust AND she bumped into Ezra at the coffee shop. As if no time at all had passed, tongues and faces where flying everywhere. Ahh, true romance?
Moving on, Aria and the girls head over to Ravenswood. In our creepy new playground, they caught a magic show; but while they were watching Aria’s ‘disappearing act,’ Emily was “disappeared” right in front of them. The girls eventually found Emily in a sawmill (Sidebar: sawmills are always creepy and bad), where “A” and CeCe had put her in a box for the ole cut the lesbian in half trick. After stopping the saw, Aria flipped and kicked CeCe in the face, knocking her off a ledge (Second Sidebar: sawmills always have ledges).
After freeing Emily, the girls were hot on “A’s” tail, chasing her down…to Ezra’s lair? They finally realized…Ezra = “A.” Start saving for those therapy sessions, Aria. They ran out, only to run into Mrs. Grunwald. Grunwald was able to finally enlighten our girls; she has the gift of sight (psychically speaking) and Alison came to her years ago worried that someone, a man, was after her. Cue Ezra. Grunwald showed up in Rosewood the night Alison was “killed,” and was the mysterious figure who pulled Ali out of the ground. Gruwald took Ali to the hospital, but by the time she found help, Alison had disappeared.
Alison is alive and out there…we just don’t know where. Will you keep watching to find out? We will.
