The Carrie Diaries “Under Pressure” S02E09


And we’re back! When we left off with The Carrie Diaries, Sebastian had just moved to California, Mouse and West had newly split, and Maggie lost her baby. Fast-forward to now. Carrie is sulking all over the place, rightfully so, while Dorrit is finally over her broken heart and ready to party. And party they do. Mr. Bradshaw leaves town for an evening and Dorrit does what ever good teenage girl would do: throw a party. Carrie uses the empty nest to her advantage, also, and invites Sebastian over for a weekend of unsupervised togetherness. What could go wrong. Well for starters, parties are messy. This one is no exception. Carrie runs downstairs just when things are starting to get heated between her and Sebastian…only to find the party is massive and out of control. Cue the keg exploding all over the ceiling, a beer pong war and a neighbor eating a pot brownie. Sebastian tells Carrie he’s moving back to Connecticut for her, which turns the pressure up even more. She proceeds to avoid him at all costs for the remainder of the evening. Awkward. Dorrit manages to find a new crush, but he has a girlfriend (ouch). The next morning, Mouse wakes up spooning Donna and Carrie finds Sebastian cleaning the house. What a sweetie. She realizes that she’s happy he’s moving back and things all manage to work out. But as we know, Carrie can’t keep everything smooth sailing for long. What will happen when Sebastian moves home? Tune into The Carrie Diaries next week to find out!
