After three seasons you’d think that Mel and Joey would get their act together! While in the new stages of dating, they’re still trying to figure out what works for their relationship and what doesn’t. This week’s Melissa and Joey focused heavily on that theme. Mel insisted on Joe “courting” her. While it’s a cute idea, it involves a lot of time, something the two of them don’t have. Joe especially doesn’t have the time right now since he’s still trying to adjust to his new, demanding job. Understandably and predictably, she gets angry. Joe always seems to manage Mel’s moods well, but he was at a bit of a loss considering…she had a good point. On a different front, Ryder thought he did good! He witnessed a robbery and worked to apprehend the perpetrator. Instead of receiving the cheers and accolades he thought he would get, his good deed was turned into a viral video. Worse, the news interview was cut to highlight the best/worst part. Suffice to say, the video was called “I Peed My Pants.” Poor Ryder. Have you ever experienced viral video infamy? Do you think Mel had a right to freak out on Joe for the lack of time they spend together? Do you think they’ll make it? Tune into Melissa and Joey every week on ABC Family to see their valiant attempts.
