Welcome back, Idol fans! It was a rough week for performances with lots of harsh criticism from the judges. The Top 12 contestants performed songs that captured the spirit of their hometowns. Idol hopefuls made their way through mostly pitchy performances to underwhelming comments from the judges.

Even one of the standouts from last week, Jessica Meuse, garnered some of the harshest criticism, with Harry saying “You were sharp the whole time.” It was hard to watch Jessica endure the critique and we can only hope it will  make her better.  Despite some of the disastrous performances, Dexter Roberts sang “Lucky Man” and totally rocked it! As the competition gets narrower, true talent is really shining through.
