YOUNG ADULT: What is the most interesting part of being able to star in the hit series, Sam & Cat?

Cameron Ocasio: To work with such great talented actors and actresses, along with [series creator] Dan Schneider, and to allow myself to grow as an actor.

YA: Describe your favorite character you’ve played thus far. Who is he? What about him most resembles you?

CO: That would be “Dice” in Sam & Cat! I love this character because he resembles me in many ways, such as being an honest and good kid and always trying to help his friends.

YA: Any fun stories to happen off camera while on set?

CO: When I first started on Sam & Cat, I decided to toilet paper Jennette’s dressing rooms as a goof and then Jennette got back at me later that day…

YA: What has been the best acting or professional advice you’ve received?

CO: Best advice I got was to never give up and work hard at something you love if you want to be successful.

YA: You have other interests, like karate and theatre. How do you balance these out with your film & TV acting career?

CO: Whenever I have free time between filming or during hiatus week, I make sure that I participate in my extra curricular activities!

YA: If you had to pick only one word to describe you, ACTOR or KID, which would it be and why?

CO: Driven – because once I start something that I like, I will work hard on getting better at it.

YA: If you could play any role from any film or TV show in history, who would it be and why?

CO: I would love to play the role of Ace Ventura, since I love Jim Carrey as a comedian.

YA: What would you say is your favorite YA story, book or film?

CO: My favorite film would be Ace Ventura: Pet Detective with Jim Carrey 🙂
