The long-awaited conclusion to Disney’s Z-O-M-B-I-E-S trilogy will soon be available to stream exclusively on Disney +. A one-of-a-kind zombie/musical mashup, Z-O-M-B-I-E-S’ first two movies introduced the town of Seabrook, where humans and zombies are forced to coexist half a century after the zombie apocalypse. Human cheerleader Addison and zombie boy Zed overcame their differences and, in the second installment, tangle with a pack of werewolves.
With Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3, Disney shows that there’s some wacky fun to be had yet. An alien mothership (voiced by none other than RuPaul) touches down in Seabrook. The high school’s student body (comprised of humans, zombies, and werewolves) must figure out how to deal with the newcomers. Aliens aren’t the only thing Addison and Zed have to worry about: college is soon approaching, and the new couple will have to navigate through the coming changes. Hopefully they’ll stay together, but anyone who really wants to know will have to watch to find out. With a new, electrifying soundtrack, though, doing so shouldn’t be too difficult.
Speaking of the music, there’s a lot to anticipate. There will be a total of eight musical numbers, each with their own unique flair. Expect them to be emotional and electrifying in equal measure.
Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3 will premier on Disney + on July 15th, and will have its Disney channel premier at 8pm, EDT/PDT on August 12th .Those watching the Disney channel premier will catch some new content, including bonus scenes and a new musical number.
