If you’ve been watching ABC Family’s Young & Hungry, you might be scratching your head wondering where you’ve seen Sofia, best friend and roommate of main character Gabi (Emily Osment). Turns out, it’s more like where haven’t you seen her.
Aimee has been in the business for several years now, appearing on numerous tv shows on cable and network TV. She played Sylvia Torres, a friend of Lizzie’s (Rhyon Nicole Brown) on four episodes of Lincoln Heights, as well as making appearances on The Mentalist, Hannah Montana, The Middle, Greek, and Baby Daddy. We also saw her earlier in 2014 playing a more serious role, freedom fighter Sofia on The Americans.
Aimee’s big break came when she was cast in Cartoon Network’s original film Level Up, which then ran for two seasons as a series. She starred as Angie, the kick-ass girl gamer equipped with the “Fist of Schoolage,” her weapon of choice for battling video game creatures.
And of course, we all now know Aimee as Sofia on Young & Hungry, an ambitious banking intern who lives with her bestie, Gabi. She’s fun, supportive, and everything you could want in a roommate.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on you, Aimee!
