After scaring our socks off and telling us about it in At the Devil’s Door, Ashley Rickards is back to work—or high school—and play on Awkward., which returns to us this week to pick up where we left off in Season 4. And in spite of an arguably over the top mid-season finale, we’re excited to see just what Jenna is planning to do about certain things.
Jenna Hamilton (Ashley’s haplessly awkward protagonist) has had quite a lot to contend with on the show, primarily in the form of Eva (Elizabeth Whitson). A girl who at first may have seemed somewhat together and friendly, Eva has turned into one of the biggest messes to ever be featured on the show, and her crazy ways have led her into a most compromising position with someone that Jenna feels very deeply for. We’re looking forward to seeing how Ashley plays this.
Additionally for the actress is the upcoming The Outskirts, where she will hopefully get to change it up a little bit and play a Queen Bee. More on that title soon!
