Of all the twisted stuff in Bates Motel, the most consistently chilling is the singular Norma Bates. She’s constantly desires attention, and this week she actually auditions for a local musical. Poor Norman can’t fill the hole she’s looking for, but maybe the musical might.

Bradley admits to killing her father’s murderer and hides out in Norman’s basement. The basement appropriately has a bunch of taxidermy around. Norman, crushing as ever, tries to help Bradley escape by buying her hair dye and a ticket to Boise. We think she’ll be back sooner rather than later, however.

Kyle, one of two men sleeping with Miss Watson before she was murdered, has taken the lead as prime suspect in her murder. He gets arrested in this episode, but we have a feeling that, as ever, there’s more to her murder than meets the eye. Do you think that Bradley’s gone for good?
