Bates MotelGone But Not Forgotten

Bates Motel is finally back! More of the twisted, literal agony that is Norman Bates’s adolescence – did you miss it? We pick up right where we left off, in the aftermath of Miss Watson’s murder. It’s a little more complicated than it appeared on first glance, as “Gone But Not Forgotten” explored different possibilities of…other murderers.

Bradley’s father and Gil are both forerunners as they’re sleeping with and dating Miss Watson, respectively. Bradley’s hot on the scent and doesn’t believe Miss Watson to be innocent, being “B” and all. She also has a bone to pick with Gil as she thinks he’s responsible for her father’s death.

We also met a stranger at Miss Watson’s grave who could be a potential suspect. We can’t discount Norman, obviously. Norman is a wreck throughout the episode and the watchful eye of the sheriff isn’t doing anything to help assuage his guilt. Another suspect is Bradley as we open with her attempting suicide at the start of the episode. We flash forward four months and see Bradley’s release from the mental hospital.

Bradley proves herself a killer in this episode, shooting and murdering Gil for his connection to her father’s death. It only follows that she turns to Norman after this goes down. This immediate reunion is a little suspicious and could be evidence that Bradley killed Miss Watson and Norman knew about it before his blackout. That’s what we’re leaning toward over here.

The big prediction on our end has to do with what Norma will do when she finds out who killed Miss Watson and Norman’s level of involvement. As we said, we’re inclined to think it was Bradley – do you think Norma will try and kill her as a result? Tweet us #Bradman relationship predictions @YAmzine!
