Ooooops … Cat wakes up in Vincent’s bed, the morning after the night before.  She grabs her clothes and scrams.  Whilst Vincent is telling JT how he still loves Cat, she’s across town confiding to Nina that it was just ‘break up sex’.  She needs to move forward with her life.  Speaking of breaking things, Sam Landon is breaking out of jail by injecting one of the other inmates with beast formula.  Cat goes down to the police station and has an awkward conversation with Gabe where she confesses she may be having second thoughts about warning off Vincent.  Tess brings news of Sam’s breakout just in time to halt the conversation.  Cat calls Vincent to tell him it’s off once and for all. and Vincent promises to bring an antidote to the prison.  Meanwhile, Tess and JT are trying some computer jiggery pokery to find Sam.  Sam has gone to hunt down a judge, Judge Westbrook, who is a member of the secret society that he believes to be responsible for his son’s death.  He steals a pin from Westbrook’s office.  JT and Vincent track Sam to Westbrook’s office but the judge isn’t talking.  Vincent knows he’s lying and he frightens Westbrook into telling him that the society communicates through a CIA server – the one that Sam blew up last week.  The pin that Sam stole is the back up form of communication, and an emergency meeting at a charity event has been called, which Sam can now attend.  Vincent proposes that he and Cat attend, posing as another couple from the society, the Beaumonts. Gabe gets pouty about this, and Cat says she will go with Gabe.  Only problem is, Cat and Gabe have been there before and might be recognized so there is no option but for Vincent to go.

At the party, Vincent is trying to put the moves on big time, but Cat is only interested in work.  Meanwhile, JT and Tess are having a serious talk of their own where she admits that she likes him.  Sam approaches one of the other guys from the secret society and injects him with beast serum and this new beast starts killing all the other members of the secret society.  Vincent and Cat manage to break up the party, and they catch Sam on a ledge as he’s about to throw himself from the top of the building and save his life.  The police arrive to break things up and Gabe takes Cat home, but she won’t let him come up.  She breaks up with him, saying that she still cares about him but her heart is with Vincent.  When she gets upstairs, he’s already there, the sly ole dog.  They have another smooch and that seems to seal the deal.  The next morning, however, the police arrive to arrest Vincent for the murder of Kurt Windsor.  Is this part of Gabe’s plan to win back Cat?  Tune in next week to find out!
