Young Entertainment Mag: When did you first know that you wanted to get into singing?
Dai Time: I first got into singing when I was a toddler singing with water bottles as mics were fun.
YEM: How do you hope your listeners feel after listening to your music?
Dai: I hope my listeners feel refreshed when listening to my music.
YEM: Who are some of your musical inspirations?
Dai: My music inspirations come from Rihanna and Beyoncé.
YEM: You are also a celebrity interviewer. How did you get into that?
Dai: I became a celebrity media correspondent when I first walked the red carpet as an author. I had fun answering questions and thought it would be fun to do as well.
YEM: What are some of the most memorable celebrity interviews that you have done?
Dai: My most memorable interview was with Kris Jenner because I’m a huge fan of all her kids. Tina Knowles, Tyler Perry, so many of them.
YEM: Do you remember who your first celebrity interview was?
Dai: My first celebrity interview was with Oprah. I was so nervous I totally forgot to state her name.
YEM: Who is someone you hope to interview one day?
Dai: My list of celebrities to interview is Ellen and Beyoncé.
YEM: How did you come up with the idea of creating your own magazine, Dai Time Magazine?
Dai: I created my own magazine because I wanted to tell phenomenal stories that youth or my peers would love and become inspired.
YEM: How do you balance everything that you do?
Dai: I balance everything by prayer my mom my dog and my friends. They all keep me grounded.
YEM: As a spokesperson for the Food and Drug Administration’s anti-smoking campaign for teens, what is a message you think everyone needs to hear?
Dai: As a spokesman for the food and drug administration I believe every youth should know life is fun free of an addiction. Addictions hold you back.
YEM: As a social media influencer, why do you feel it is so important to use your platform to inspire and motivate positive change?
Dai: As a social media influencer, I feel it’s important to make my platform fun exciting and definitely entertaining for the entire family.
YEM: Who are some of your personal inspirations?
Dai: My personal inspirations are my mom my dog my peers and finding fun innovative things to do.
