After a stellar sixteenth season, count them, SIXTEEN seasons; Dancing With The Stars has crowned another champion. The two-hour season finale was full of emotional moments and crowd-pleasing performances from Pitbull, Wynona Judd and, Jessica Sanchez.

The encore selection went to Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough for their ovation-earning freestyle. Once again, the barefoot country star took the floor and gave an effortlessly emotional performance. They were blonde and amazing together. The judges still had their work cut out for them, as they still had one “instant dance” round to judge after we learned who was headed home first.

In a surprising turn of events, Jacoby Jones took the lead over Aly Raisman, landing the gymnast in fourth place in the first hour. She took the surprising news gracefully and said, “This has been the best experience of my life.”

For the next awesome dance break, we got to the girls see lead a pack of pros in a killer routine to the aptly fitting Beyonce’s “Girls.” The remaining three contenders were forced to perform an instant dance for their final round of judging. Jacoby and his partner, Karina Smirnoff were first with a saucy salsa routine. They pulled out all the stops and earned a perfect score.

Kellie and Derek were next with their jive and it was amazing. Len couldn’t find enough complimentary comments to send her way. “ I’m telling you, you’re the bees knees, my mama’s pajamas, my uncle’s carbuncle,” he said. “You’re awesome!” Another perfect score from the panel kept the race tight.

When Zendaya and Val Chemrovskiy, hit the floor for their final number, it was clear this competition was tight as ever. Their upbeat jive was technically flawless as well. Like the two before them, this couple nabbed a perfect score from the panel.

As expected, Jacoby and Karina finished in third place.

Finally down to Kellie and Zendaya, the country singer was revealed as victorious over the Disney star. The blonde bombshell seemed shocked when she was crowned winner. This is amazing!” Kellie said, thrilled and hardly able to speak – though she was squealing with delight. And so it went!
