The episode begins with Maya upset that her laptop has been stolen.  She can’t get an extension, and she suspects Zig of taking it.  A new student, Jack, joins the school and Imogen is pretty clearly interested in her leaving Becky feeling left out.  Maya decides to take matters with the laptop into her own hands by following Zig.  She tails him after school to an abandoned house and knocks on the door.  Zig opens it and promptly slams it in her face when he sees it’s Maya.  Jack reveals she’s gay and Becky can’t bear to see them flirting.  Maya feels terribly guilty that Zig is squatting but Miles doesn’t share her sympathy and they have a fight (yes, another one).  Becky asks Drew if she should be worried that Imogen will ditch her now that Jack is on the scene and he says that Becky should try spending some time with them as a threesome.  Connor is annoyed that Jenna is trying to dress him up for the ‘best dressed couple’ competition in advance of the Semiformal – he thinks she is ashamed of him.  Miles and Maya kiss and make up and Maya tells a teacher that Zig is homeless; Zig is devastated when he realizes he might have to move to a group home.  Connor dresses up in preparation for the Semiformal and Jenna is amazed at his new look.  Meanwhile Imogen, Becky and Jack are all hanging out together and Becky is getting snippy at Jack once more.  Is she jealous?!?!  When Becky catches Imogen alone, she invites her to the Semiformal.  At home, Maya finds her laptop down the side of her sister’s bed and feels terrible that she accused Zig.    She manages to convince her mom that Zig should stay with them for a while.  Meanwhile, Jenna is feeling pretty threatened now that Connor has got all cute and other girls have noticed him.  He’s the same old Connor underneath – but for how long?  And what’s the motivation behind Becky asking Imogen out?  Tune in next week to find out!
