Wicked: For Good takes place years after the events of Wicked, as Elphaba, now known as the Wicked Witch of the West, continues her fight for animal rights while living as a fugitive. Glinda, now recognized as the Glinda the Good, is watched over by the Wizard and Madame Morrible. As they face the consequences of their actions, their relationship is put to the test, and the Land of Oz will be changed forever. The entire cast featuring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo reprise their roles, and Colman Domingo comes in to voice Brrr the Cowardly Lion.
There are so many incredible creators who have gotten us so excited in anticipation of the film, and we want to shout out Victoria, who goes by @theozvlog on Instagram. Victoria makes such great content, including interviews with the cast and pointing out easter eggs from the trailer, so go follow!!
Daniella: “You feel like you’re in Oz when you’re watching her videos.”
Mordechai got to see an early screening, and he breaks down the biggest surprises from the film, the character with the biggest glow up, his favorite songs from Act 2, and the biggest ‘goosebumps’ moment that defined themes of love, friendship, and betrayal.
Mordechai: “I walked away from the movie feeling really good about both Glinda and Elphaba.”
Daniella said she is so excited to see all the wardrobe and costumes in Wicked: For Good and is fascinated to see the camera work and how the story is told, including the appearance of Dorothy from Kansas.
We also dive into a masterclass moment that defines just how passionate and hardworking Ariana Grande is. When the film was announced, she told her team this was the role of her dreams and threw herself into acting and singing classes every day to become the best version of Glinda there could be. Talk about dedication from one of the best!

Consider this:
- If you have to do an adlib type scene, make sure you are actually singing and putting on a performance because people can tell when you are just mimicking.
- If you want a career in the arts, make sure you are living the life of that person. Practice and be prepared for when you’re on set but even when you’re not.
- Reading the room and listening to others and observing how people work together is key to successful collaboration.
