Everything’s Gonna Be Okay premieres tomorrow!

The Freeform channel has introduced some great shows over the past few years. Including favorites like The Bold Type, Shadowhunters, and grown-ish. And tomorrow, Freeform will air its newest series, called Everything’s Gonna Be Okay.

This show will be a first for Freeform and for television in general. Everything’s Gonna Be Okay includes a main character who is autistic. The show tackles many issues including loss, homosexuality and growing up.

Everything’s Gonna Be Okay stars Josh Charles as the main character Nicholas. The rest of the cast includes Kayla Cromer, Adam Faison, and Maeve Press.

Nicholas, a neurotic twenty-something-year-old, is visiting his dad and teenage half-sisters, one of whom is on the autism spectrum. And Nicholas is not particularly helpful. But when Nicholas’ trip is extended due to his father’s untimely death, the siblings are left to cope with the devastating loss. Not only that, but also the realization that Nicholas is the one who will have to rise to the occasion. He will have to move in, and hold it all together.

The half hour show will premiere tomorrow night at 8:30 pm on Freeform. The first season of the show will include 10 episodes.
Everything’s Gonna Be Okay is Freeform’s second new show of 2020. Just last week, Freeform premiered its other new show, Party of Five. The drama series is a revival of the popular 90s series, but with a twist. The show revolves around five siblings that must ban together when their parents are deported. The siblings vary in age. But with their parents gone they help each other and fend for themselves. Freeform has other new shows on the way that will premiere this year. Stay tuned to YEM to learn more about them!
