Hello young musician enthusiasts, for this new feature we are picking some of our (and hopefully your) favorite pop songs and giving you some suggestions of comparable and generally awesome tracks to get you grooving. Enjoy!

If you like: “Chandeliar” by Sia … ever surprising powerhouse pop from our favorite Australian chanteuse since Kylie.

We think you’ll dig: “I Will Never Let You Down” by Rita Ora . This English pop pussycat used to date Calvin Harris and we think there’s something of his influence in the hook. Dare you not to repeat this time and time again.

If you like: “Don’t” by Ed Sheeran – it’s basically Damien Rice’s “Volcano” with a few extra angsty lyrics and more of a beat but we love it anyway

We think you’ll dig: Newton Faulkner “Losing Ground” … even more red hair on display, and a very similar catchy acoustic feel.

If you like: “2 On” by Tinashe feat. Schoolboy Q another huge hit from hottest young hip hop producer of the moment, DJ Mustard … or as you may know him ‘Muzzurd on the beat’

We think you’ll dig: “She Knows” Ne-Yo feat. Juicy J Ne-Yo always produces the smoothest vocals, and Juicy J hasn’t put a foot wrong since “Bandz a Make Her Dance”
