Forget Lily Allen, forget Solange Knowles. 23 year old UK-based sultry songstress Jetta has been quoted as likening her music and sound to a roller coaster, and for good reason: “Take It Easy”, her beautiful ballad featured on this season of So You Think You can Dance (with Carly and Rudy dueting their hearts out for their contemporary piece), is quiet in its intensity and buildup, while her “Feels Like Coming Home” calls to mind Adele (yes, we know what a big honor that is).

Being brought up in a musical family (her mom was an acapella singer and her dad worked as an audio engineer), she was acquainted at a very early age with the music of everyone from David Bowie to Annie Lennox. Now a strong musician in her own right, Jetta has worked with the likes of Paloma Faith and Cee Lo Green, and caused quite a stir with her first hit “Start a Riot”. Now, she is excited to be brining out her own debut EP, this year. With that voice and unique music styling, a riot is starting indeed.
