Love, Victor premiered on Hulu on June 17th and has received terrific reviews. The series is charming, enjoyable, and intriguing. The primary storyline centers around teen Victor Salazar, who moves with his family from Texas to Atlanta and must navigate life in a new high school. On top of that, Victor goes on a personal journey where he learns about what he really wants.
Love, Victor is based on the popular film Love, Simon, which premiered in 2018 and starred actor Nick Robinson. Because the series is based on the film, Victor and Simon were frequently exchanging messages during Season 1. Victor shared his thoughts and questions and Simon responded with advice and his thoughts.
The final episode of Season 1 contained a ton of action and big moments. Though there is no exact confirmation of Season 2 now, fans of the series can only hope for more episodes. Let’s look at some big questions for a hypothetical Season 2:
How will Victor and Benji’s relationship go about?
Victor and Benji shared a kiss at the school dance, which means the two must decide how they will label their relationship going forward. Would Victor be ready to make his love for Benji public? Will the two decide to stay friends? Will they get into a relationship at the beginning of Season 2?
There are a lot of things that need to be settled in terms of Victor and Benji’s relationship, as it’s clear they like each other, but it depends on whether both want to go forward with a relationship especially after Mia found out and Victor now needing to deal with the situation of his parents separating.
Victor and Mia: how will they go about?
Victor dated a sweet girl named Mia for most of Season 1 and they developed a close bond. Therefore, it’s unsurprising when Mia was devastated to see Victor and Benji kiss on a bench outside at the dance.
Thus, Victor hurt his girlfriend and a very close friend, someone with who he has a strong bond. A point of focus in Season 2 would be on how Victor and Mia move on from each other. We don’t know if she will immediately be open to talking to him as it may take a while to heal the wounds.

How will Victor’s parents’ separation end up?
At the end of Season 1, Victor’s parents Armando and Isabel decided it would be best for them to separate for a bit. This tough piece of news will be hard on Victor and his siblings Pilar and Adrian. The situation will certainly be an adjustment for the kids during Season 2. As a result, the biggest question is how serious the separation is and whether the parents can come back stronger in their marriage.
How will Victor’s family react to his coming out?
After news of their separation, Victor decided to come out to his family in a spur-of-the-moment decision. This is the cliffhanger at the end of Season 1, as viewers did not get to see the reaction of the family. It’s fair to say a potential Season 2 would start out with the family’s reaction to Victor’s news, but it remains to be seen how they will react.
Are there any other questions you have for Season 2?
