The votes are in and round 3 of March Madness is ready to begin! If you haven’t stayed up to date, Young Entertainment is holding its very own March Madness tournament, but with a twist. We compiled a list of this year’s best couples from film and television and put them head-to-head to see who is this year’s best couple. It is a March Madness tradition for fans to create their own bracket and predict what teams will move forward in the competition, so follow along or try to guess which couples will win!

Which couples made it into the elite 8? And who’s is going head-to-head? It’s time to find out!

Seb and Carlos – HSMTMTS vs. Sarah and John B – Outer Banks

“Carlos, hi. Um, I think you know that there is nothing greater than the love we share for power ballads originally sung by iconic women. Yes, you’re my boyfriend but you’re also sort of my hero.”- Seb

John B: “Tell me the happy ending.”

Sarah: “You’re gonna be a fishing instructor, and I’m gonna have a sandwich shop. And we are gonna have a house on the beach and a dog and a boat.”

Sweet Seb and Carlos or Sarah and John B? Each couple offers something different from the other, which makes this so difficult. Seb and Carlos set a new standard at East High for being one of the only out couples at their school. Also, they sing songs for each other. It doesn’t get much cuter than that. On the other hand, John B would risk his life for Sarah, his love for her is evident.

Peter and MJ – Spider-Man: No Way Home vs. Lara Jean and Peter – To All the Boys

“Look At Me. I’m Here. I’m Not Going Anywhere. We’re Going To Get Through This And Get Through It Together.” – MJ to Peter

“But Maybe Love Is Actually About The Moments When You Think No One Is Watching.” – Lara Jean

Who’s it gonna be? MJ and Peter fell in love after the second Spider-Man film in the trilogy when she figured out Peter was indeed Spider-Man. No Way Home left audiences with heartbreak. MJ figured out who Spider-Man was once..could she do it again? Lara and Peter from To All The Boys Always and Forever have had three movies worth of their ups and downs. They now have a solid foundation where they both can grow together.

 Big Red and Ashlyn – HSMTMTS vs. Cheryl and Toni – Riverdale

Ashlyn: “Hey you good?”

Big Red: “I just don’t know how to make things light up.”

Ashlyn: “You walk into a room.”

“Cheryl, I am so sorry. But you have to know your mother’s wrong. You’re not loveless. You’re not deviant. Okay? You’re sensational.”

Red means Love! At least, it does to Big Red and Cheryl. Big Red and Ashlyn are the quirky yet passionate couple the world didn’t know they needed. Then there are the queens Cheryl and Toni or “Choni” who had a friendship turned whirlwind romance. Despite Cheryl’s initial distaste for Southside Serpents, she found her way to the dark side. Who is the better couple?

Rue and Jules – Euphoria vs. Usnavi and Vanessa – In the Heights

“No girl had ever looked at me the way Rue did.” – Jules

“Yo, I was thinking, there’s so much stuff going on. It just got me thinking about all the people I care about the most. And I just thought about you.” -Usnavi to Vanessa

Oof, have fun deciding this one. This is near impossible. Starting from the beginning, Rue was memorized by Jules. In season 2, the pair finally get to explore a relationship, but does Rue’s addiction ruin it all? Next are Usnavi and Vanessa who are old friends that have always had a spark for one another. Their back and forth game of who will make the first move finally ends when Usnavi shows his true feelings for Vanessa by staying in New York and starting his life with her.
