Few young adult shows over the past ten or so years have been as talked about as Pretty Little Liars. Now, a cast of new characters, depicted below in these brand-new, recently released stills, come together to solve the mystery of an unknown enemy. It’s clear that the cast of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will not disappoint.

Showrunner Roberto Aguirres-Sacasa recently posted stills of each of the new characters on Instagram, with captivating captions that hinted at the delightful wickedness to come in the new series. It’s time to meet the cast of Pretty Little Liars.

The Cast Of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin

First, there is lead Imogen, portrayed by Bailee Madison. As Aguirres-Sacasa puts it, “One little liar creeping down the hall, praying to Mommy that she doesn’t take a fall…”. This tantalizing description was followed with emojis including a fire, a gift box, a trophy, a lipstick imprint, and a runner. It is unclear what all this means, but we will have to watch the show to find out.

Next, there is Tabby (Chandler Kinney). About her character, Aguirres-Sacasa posted, “One little liar wants to make a movie, but she doesn’t get final cut”, followed by emojis depicting a movie camera, some dice, a knife, a flexing muscle, the head of a rat, a rose, and gift box. Tabby is a character who aspires to make horror films for a living, a trait which will factor into her arc as the twists and turns pile up throughout this first season, and the characters struggle to solve who ‘A’ is.

Then, there is Noa (Maia Reficco), who Aguirres-Sacara described as, “One little liar always wanting to have fun, but she better be able to run…”, followed by emojis including lipstick, a flexing arm, an eye, a heart, and a dancer, Noa is someone who, whatever her dark past, is desperate to dance around trouble. Undoubtedly, Maia Reficco is an important part of the cast of Pretty Little Liars.

Next is Minnie (Malia Pyles), who Aguirres-Sacara described with “One little liar as quiet as a mouse, doesn’t even know there’s someone in the house.”. This was followed with some of the same emojis as assigned to the other characters (I.e. a gift box, a dancer, a trophy), as well as mouse head, brain, ninja, blue cap, skull and crossbones, and a star. Minnie is clearly someone who is used to staying quiet to avoid trouble, which will be impossible with A on the prowl.

Lastly is Faran (Zaria). Aguirres-Sacara teased her character with “One little liar was born to dance; she doesn’t even stand a chance.”. This character’s bio on Instagram was perfectly accompanied by emojis of a medal, a lottery machine with icons of ballet shoes, skull and crossbones, a tornado, ballet shoes, musical notes, and a rocket and star. Clearly, Faran is a dancer looking to get out of town and start a career in such a competitive world. And with A stirring up trouble, she may not get that chance.
