Nashville never fails to disappoint with the drama and this week is no different. To kick off “Guilty Street”, Juliette is in the midst of being wooed by a lot of different record companies. It’s nice to see her back in demand after her recent missteps. Deacon’s heading out on tour and concerned that Megan will be getting closer to Teddy. Also, his hand that was injured in the crash is causing him problems; he has his own doubts about whether or not he’ll be able to make it on the road as a headliner.
Rayna and Tandy are at odds over finances. It seems like Tandy’s having a rough go lately. Avery, Gunnar and Zoey are trying to navigate their new band together, but Avery and Gunnar are at odds from the beginning. Scarlett and Liam are hot and heavy still. Rayna understandably isn’t happy about this and fires Liam. Liam leaves town and Scarlett’s sadder than before. We’re not sure whether Liam’s gone for good but it looks like it.
It looks like Deacon had a right to be concerned about Megan getting closer to Teddy. Teddy discovers Peggy lied about the pregnancy, and Megan’s the one there to comfort him. It leads to kissing, which is clearly more concerning than a little handholding. Edgehill tries to get Juliette back by offering Avery money to produce her record. Avery has a strong sense of pride and is very upset by the offer. When Gunnar makes snide remarks about Juliette to Avery it goes over even harder. Avery’s going to have to get over his sensitivity about this if he wants to have a relationship with Juliette.
Rayna’s relationship with Luke is still going strong. He offers her money to help out with Highway 65. She turns him down but makes a decision to move forward without Tandy. Juliette signs with Highway 65, which is a boon for them both. Do you think they’ll be able to get along long enough to work together? Do you think that Megan will come clean to Deacon about her indiscretion with Teddy? We think it’s going to be a rocky road all-around. Tweet us #TeamRayna or #TeamJuliette @YAmzine.
