A while back we had the good fortune of sitting down with iconic author Nicholas Sparks about his incredible Novel Learning Series, which transforms his works of fiction into useful learning tools for teens across the globe. Many of his novels are part of the series, with new titles being added all the time: The Last Song, Three Weeks With My Brother, A Walk to Remember, A Bend in the Road, Dear John and of course The Notebook.
Another great thing about having an author as famous as Nicholas Sparks spearhead a program like this is the incredible visibility his work gets. With an amazing book-to-film track record starting with the much-loved The Notebook, Sparks hasn’t been away from Hollywood since, with titles like Last Song and Safe Haven and The Lucky One all being made into huge (and successful) big budget Hollywood romances. Next up are The Best of Me and The Longest Ride – once these titles reach a larger audience as major motion pictures, could they perhaps become part of the Novel Learning Series? We’ll have to see…
Also upcoming from Nicholas Sparks is his first-ever TV project, Deliverance Creek, coming to Lifetime in September. The series stars Can’t Hardly Wait’s Lauren Ambrose!
