Tonight’s episode of Once Upon A Time In Wonderland begins with Cyrus paying Caterpillar a visit, and by trickery he and Alice are able to retrieve his Lost and Found compass, which they use to try to find Cyrus’ mom. Tweedle arrives and warns Alice and Cyrus on behalf of Red Queen that she used her three wishes and Jafar is about to do the spell. Together the three of them head to the palace. Jafar is there with the three genies, preparing to perform the spell.The Red Queen has a flashback of when she first arrived to the palace, and the Queen offered to teach her how to do magic.
Jafar is having a problem will the spell: for some reason Will appears to be immune to both the spell, and to the Jabberwocky’s attempts to break him down – Jafar attributes it to Anastasia having protected him somehow. Jafar questions Anastasia, but she denies that she has laid a protection spell on Will. The Jabberwocky figures out that Will is immune because he doesn’t have a heart! Meanwhile Alice and Cyrus have arrived and are hiding in the dungeon waiting to rescue the others. Jafar threatens to slice Anastasia’s throat if Will doesn’t tell him where he has hidden the heart, and Will relents – his heart is hidden in far away Storybrooke. Meanwhile Alice and Cyrus have snuck out of the dungeon and are racing to find Will’s heart so that they can beat Jafar. They get to Storybrooke and Rabbit takes them to Will’s house.
Will and Anastasia, stuck together in the dungeon, share a moment in which they both reveal how the other broke their heart. They regret coming to this place and learning about magic. Meanwhile in Storybrooke Alice and Cyrus find Will’s heart in his apartment. They get it all the way back to Wonderland, only for Jafar to overpower them and take it from them anyway. He tries to kill Cyrus with his snake staff, but something strange happens and Cyrus is immune to the staff. Instead, Cyrus somehow breaks the staff, and Jafar flees with Will’s heart whilst Cyrus and Alice have the staff. Fair trade! Between the two of them, Alice and Cyrus use the Lost and Found compass to put two and two together and realize that Cyrus’ Mom is trapped inside of the Jafar’s staff. But how will they get her out?
In the dungeon Anastasia asks Will for forgiveness, and says she hopes he loves again. Jafar returns at that moment with Will’s heart. Will has a one chance, with his heart returned to him, he kisses Anastasia. This will be their last kiss though because Jafar kills her right in front of Will. Is Will going to have a chance at revenge? Tune in next week to find out!
