Singer and songwriter Shayla Souliere is ending 2018 in a big way. Last month, she released her newest single called “Let Me Go”. But this rising vocalist is already planning for 2019. The pop singer from Canada is previewing what’s ahead for her as the new year begins. YEM spoke with Shayla about her sound and her plans for the future.
Young Entertainment Mag: First, How did you get involved in music?
Shayla Souliere: I have been singing since I could speak, literally. Haha! But I professionally started in the industry about 5 years ago, when I was discovered by a Grammy Nominated Producer in Los Angeles.
YEM: How would you describe your sound? How did you find your sound?
Shayla: My sounds is FUN, OUTGOING, and mixed with a little EDGE!
YEM: Did you release a music video for your newest song”Let Me Go”?
Shayla: I haven’t completed a music video for “Let Me Go” yet. But there is lots of new content coming in the New Year 🙂
YEM: If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be?
Shayla: Oh this is a tough one, cause I love many artists. But if I had to pick just one, it would be… Halsey!
YEM: Finally, what’s ahead for you? Will you be touring or releasing more music soon? Or maybe an EP?
Shayla: There will be some form of a tour happening in 2019 and a lot more singles 🙂
