10. Latch – In the top 20 introduction, Carly Blaney & Serge Onik performed a Contemporary dance choreographed by Sonya Tayeh to an acoustic version of Latch by Sam Smith. It was a strong showing out the gate and set a beautiful tone for things to come.

9. Like Real People Do – This Hozier song set the backdrop for a beautiful Travis Wall contemporary routine that was sealed with a kiss. Casey and Jessica danced out their love in the Top 14 episode.

8. Doesn’t Mean Goodbye – Stanley and Bridget’s duet involving a table and chairs was set to this Jon McLaughlin song. Bonnie Story was responsible for the interesting choreography that integrated props in a masterful way.

7. Stay With Me – This Sam Smith tune doesn’t call hip hop to mind straight away however in the top 18 episode, Jacque LeWarne & Zack Everheart made their duet, choreographed by Keone and Mari Madrio work in a totally natural way.

6. Slave to the Rhythm was the standout in the Michael Jackson episode. Another hip hop routine, Twitch made an appearance and caused us to take notice in the Dave Scott choreographed duet with Jacque LeWarne.

5. 99 Red Balloons – Another Jacque number, this contemporary routine with Will set to the song by Sleeping at Last had our toes tapping and had us rethinking this awesome tune in the top 6. Sean Cheesman choreographed.

4. Hide (Tropkillaz Remix) [feat. Childish Gambino & Aynzli Jones] – Another top 6 routine worked in some of the most original music by N.A.S.A. This routine was all of the 6 performing a group routine together at the beginning of the show. Nick Demoura did some masterful group choreography.

3. Dilliwaali Girlfriend – This upbeat tune by Sunidhi Chauhan & Arijit Singh provided an interesting tonal shift. Valerie Rockey and Ricky Ubeda danced a Bollywood choreographed by Nakul Dev Mahajan. Ricky was amazing; Valeria struggled…but given the difficulty of the routine they were both amazing.

2. Pearls – The Sade tune was featured on the most recent episode in a stunning Tyce Diorio routine that Zack and Valerie worked out. They brought tears to everyone’s eyes.

1. Sing Sing Sing (Part 2) – The song, sung by an Original Broadway Cast laid a perfect backdrop for Tanisha Belnap & Rudy Abreu to perform a rhythmic and energetic Broadway-inspired dance in the top 18. This number was choreographed by Warren Carlyle. They had canes and did some softshoe. We love seeing risk taking and this definitely pushed some boundaries.
