Big news for PLL fans! Freeform has announced that Descendants star Sofia Carson is joining the Pretty Little Liars universe.

Following the series finale of Pretty Little Liars, a spin-off series was announced by Freeform. The show will be called “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” and will star PLL cast members Sasha Pieterse‬ (Aly) and ‪Janel Parrish (Mona).

Not much is known about the show, but some details about Sofia’s character have been revealed. Freeform announced that Carson will play a character named Ava, a beautiful trendsetting blogger and coder, who strives to be a fashion icon.

This is not Sofia’s first time on a Freeform show, she will also appear in the upcoming second season of “Famous In Love.” She also co-hosted Freeform’s recent Disney Weddings Holiday special. In addition to Disney’s Descendants, Sofia Carson has also starred in Disney Channel’s Adventures in Babysitting and A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song. Congrats to Sofia!
