Switched at Birth is back with a brand new episode. Bay tries to make good on her promise to stay friends with her ex, Emmett, even framing a picture of his girlfriend for him. When she tries to do this nice gesture, she winds up having to tell him that Mandy may not be what she seems. It will be interesting to see the resolution of this. Will it mean trouble for Tank and Bay? It certainly means more time with Emmett. Only time will tell.  No matter what, the resolution to this story will most likely bring Bay and Emmett closer together, and that spells trouble for Bay’s new relationship with Tank.

Elsewhere, Toby gets a surprise visit from Nikki, his long-distance wife. Their relationship is fragile from all they’ve been through and it’s unclear if Toby and Nikki will withstand the distance they are putting between themselves.  The relationship drama continues with each character on Switched at Birth. It’s nice to see struggles and relationship issues dealt with in a constructive way. It is a great example for those going through similar issues.
