Teen Wolf is riding out this Nogistune thing to the end and we learned a lot more about the history behind it on this week’s “The Fox and the Wolf.” For starters, Kira’s mom is 900 years old and was in an internment camp in the 40s, which is some realness. Kira’s mom had a soldier boyfriend while she was there. With his help, she revealed a conspiracy to sell medication meant for prisoners on the black market. This caused the prisoners to riot and a werewolf named Satomi to (understandably) freak out.

Kira’s mom’s soldier boyfriend was burned during the riot and almost died. In anguish, she called upon the Notigsune to get revenge. Instead of possessing her, it possessed her boyfriend Reese. Kira’s mom had to kill Reese and get rid of the body and put away the Nogitsune, which we learned was under the Nemeton. Kira puts the Katana back together with plans to use it to defeat Stiles.

Allison had an emotional breakdown of sorts when she was in an elevator with the Sheriff. She revealed a ton about what was going wrong from the Scott of it all to the fact that Isaac may be dying and, oh, the failing grade she’s getting in econ. Stiles seems concerned still about the future of his life…and uses a chess board to try and see a few moves down the road, as it were.
