ABOUT THE ALBUM: Two Justin Timberlake albums in one year after a seven-year drought is quite a feat. Not that anyone seems to be complaining – Timberlake lead this years VMA nominations and 20/20 part one is as great a return to form as could be expected. While it’s unclear what work still needs to be done on the album, it seems as though the lions share was completed while he was recording the first part of the album, and Timberlake has in fact said in interviews that it was in trying to pare down material for one album that he realized this was a two part experience. The first part of the album had 10 tracks and the second was supposed to also have 10 (10+10=20) but it’s rumored that there are 11, which is just icing on the cake. Part 2 drops 9/30/13.

SINGLE SPOTLIGHT: “Take Back the Night” is an upbeat dance track, recalling the late, great MJ. A music video is currently being shot but that isn’t stopping the track from climbing the charts already.
