The Best Prom Award Goes To Olivia Rodrigo’s “SOUR Prom”

The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here. The SOUR Prom is here. Its’ crazy and beautiful at the same time. A true masterpiece!

It was live streamed on June 29th and it already has 7 million views! Even Though that is amazing for her, it shouldn’t come as a surprise. Olivia Rodrigo, has been a multi-million viewed artist ever since “drivers license”. Still it’s always great to see a new artist get recognized so quickly. Good for her!

Even Though, Olivia Rodirgo is a great singer her vocals have changed drastically from when she first started with “driver license”. That’s completely understandable and common with young artists. Not saying she wasn’t a good singer but, she wasn’t at her best like now which makes complete sense, considering her vocals were still developing. Now damn, she sounds like a Grammy-Award winner. Her vocals are stellar in the SOUR Prom!

Other astounding features in the concert film were the beats and the backup singers. They are so in sync and harmony with Rodrigo. It is as if they were a trio made in heaven. Both went so well with the film and her singing. Rodrigo did an amazing job but, without the other musicians and backup singers the film wouldn’t be as great as it was. Kudos to them!

The concert film (A.K.A. Prom) is almost a half an hour long and features all her songs from her debut album “SOUR”. The film takes the fans through all the motions. There’s a little anxiety, depression, anger, hatred, jealousy, redemption, and happiness. Also, the diversity in the song genres are incredible. There’s some rock, pop, and even a couple soft and smooth types of songs. Everything all bottled up into one film!

Basically, the film bottles up everything teenagers experience and go through. She did a spectacular job and the fans have the chance to hear all her new songs in this one film. Amazing job, Rodrigo! The fans can’t wait to see what you do next! For those living under a rock and haven’t seen the SOUR Prom, they can check it out on YouTube here!
