This deliciously creepy book follows what happens when Clementine DeVore gets out of being trapped in a cellar…after 10 years. It has the potential to spawn a PLL or Dexter type series off of it, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it does.

 

2. Between the Spark and the Burn by April Genevieve-Tucholke

Fans of Beautiful Creatures and Anna Dressed in Blood shouldn’t miss this romance with tones of Stephen King, which is the conclusion to Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.

 

3. Teen Choice Awards

Don’t miss the awards show where the prize is a surfboard and our favorites Tyler Posey and Sarah Hyland co-host. You never know what could happen with your favorite stars all in a room together, don’t miss a second!

 

4. The Giver

Fans of the book are finally vindicated when this big-screen adaptation starring Taylor Swift, Katie Holmes, Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep and more hits August 15th. A look at the future through a fractured lens, The Giver gives you much to think about.

Fans of Girl, Interrupted and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will love The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone follows what happens in the aftermath of a mysterious death of an artist and what happens when the public refuses to let her go.

Falling in love doesn’t always mean happily ever after…that’s what is explored in Isla and the Happily Ever After. Perkins has also written other novels set in France, and her efforts only get increasingly better.

Calling dino-lovers everywhere. This documentary tells what happens when the world’s greatest dinosaur discovery is made and the battle for the amazing skeleton ensues.

 

10. Kris Allen – Horizons

The American Idol favorite is really coming into his own, as evidenced by the new album Horizons. Allen’s soulful voice is at his best, as is his guitar playing and songwriting on these emotional, meaningful tracks.
