Films and Shows:
XO, Kitty – 5/18
The upcoming Netflix series that serves as a spin-off of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series, XO, Kitty will release on May 18th through Netflix! Follow the adventures of Kitty, as she travels to Korea to meet her long-distance boyfriend, and finds that her knowledge of love goes against the true complexity of relationships. Fast X – 5/19
The tenth installment of the Fast and the Furious series is coming up. It will serve as the final chapter to the most popular, global franchises in U.S. history. Serving as the first part of the finale, the time to watch Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto is coming to an eventual close. Be sure to check the film out when it’s released on May 19th!
Alan Menken, Howard Ashman & Lin-Manuel Miranda – The Little Mermaid (2023 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) – 5/19
Is everyone excited about the movie’s release? It may not be the movie, but the soundtrack will do! From the minds of Alan Menken, Howard Ashman & Lin-Manuel Miranda, The Little Mermaid (2023 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) will release on May 19th! You’ll be able to listen to the soundtrack from the film, such as Part of Your World by Halle and Under The Sea by Daveed Diggs. Kesha – Gag Order – 5/19
From the mind of Praying and Tik Tok, Kesha will be releasing her latest album Gag Order! This fifth album will contain songs that you’ll recognize from earlier months, such as Eat the Acid and Fine Line. Be sure to catch her latest album on May 19th!
Primo – 5/19
For those searching for a teen comedy series, Primo will be premiering through Freevee on May 19th! Follow a journey based on Shea Serrano’s life as a San Antonio teenager who tries to balance his college aspirations and societal expectations with his single mom and five uncles.
Lewis Capaldi – Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent – 5/19
Lewis Capaldi’s newest album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, will be released this month! The same artist who brought Someone You Loved, Before You Go, and Bruises to life will release this album. It has songs such as Forget Me, Wish You The Best, and Pointless. Be sure to catch this album when it comes out on May 19th!
SHY Martin – late night thoughts – 5/19
SHY Martin arrives with her latest album, set to release this week called late night thoughts. The same artist who released The Ocean with Mike Perry, a song that became her first Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum release, be prepared to listen to songs such as wish i didn’t know you and glued to the floor on May 19th!
