top 3 new songs
Every week, we post three of our favorite new music videos to hit the web so that you can get current with your music whilst enjoying a feast for your ears and eyes.  The style and tone may differ somewhat from week to week or video to video, but the awesomeness will remain consistent.  Feel free to do a little shimmy if you feel it’s appropriate … Enjoy!

Ne-Yo featuring Jeezy – Money Can’t Buy

This is a perfect collaboration between Ne-Yo and Jeezy; it’s got just a hint of a classic R’n’B vibe, to the point that they even borrow a couple of lines from Curtis Mayfield. Ne-Yo is cruising around town taking in a perfect weekend with his girlfriend whilst sporting an impressive array of hats. Jeezy seems to be mainly there for decoration but we still appreciate the way he lets his hands gestures do all of the work. If rapping doesn’t pan out for him, he’s got a solid plan B lined up as a mime. Check it out here:

Nick Jonas – Chains

Nick Jonas is looking spiffy with a newly shaved head and bulging biceps in this new video, his first totally solo effort. We love the sound, and his voice has a deeper pitch and timbre than we’ve heard from him before. The video is awesome too, in an apocalyptic way, even if we’re not entirely sure what’s going on! Check it out below:

Sam Smith – I’m Not the Only One

All is NOT well in suburbia in Sam Smith’s new video, his follow up to Stay With Me. A philandering husband, played by Chris Messina, goes about having an affair whilst his heartbroken wife, played by Diana Agron, wanders the house in her wedding dress and partakes in some day drinking, natch. This has been a hell of a year for Sam so far, with him taking the Critics’ Choice Award at the Brit Awards, and scoring a US top ten single with Disclosure with Latch in February. We hope his run of success continues as he’s got a voice that sounds so much more mature than twenty two years old, and we can’t get enough of his song-writing. Check out I’m Not the Only One here:
