Top 5 Albums

With 2025 inching closer and closer to its conclusion, and 2026 just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to take a trip down memory lane and remember what an incredible year it was in entertainment. As we reflect on this year, Young Entertainment has found and highlighted some of the best Young Adult entertainment content we could find. Whether through films, television shows or music, every genre plays an integral part in the lives of Young Adults, which is why YE wants to celebrate it. So, without further ado, here is YE’s Top 5 Lists of 2025.

From long awaited content to surprisingly strong new content, there were so many incredible soundtracks that told important stories. Here were our top from 2025:

1. Wicked: For Good

Our hearts were satisfied for good when the Wicked: For Good soundtrack was released, based on the second act of the stage musical. The soundtrack features 11 songs, led by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The soundtrack also features two totally new songs written by Stephen Schwartz: “No Place Like Home” and “The Girl in the Bubble”. With powerful vocals from Ariana and Cynthia, the soundtrack was an emotional conclusion to the two hit films. Check out our interview with young Glinda, who chatted with us about her magical first meeting with Cynthia and Ariana.

2. Sidelined 2

We got to see more of Dallas and Drayton’s love story in Sidelined 2: Intercepted and were also treated to a 15 song soundtrack, featuring performances from rising stars like Charlie Gillespie, who performed “In The Air” and “Somewhere in the Middle,” Clayton Mullen, and Lindsay Ell. The soundtrack encapsulates the challenges of a long distance relationship but the love that makes it all worth it.

3. Zombies 4 : Dawn of the Vampires

Released in July, the Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires soundtrack features 13 songs, including new renditions of “Someday” from the first Zombies and “Ain’t No Doubt About It” from Zombies 3. Many of the songs follow Nova and Victor’s journey, the leaders of the Daywalkers and Vampires, as they work to bring their groups together, headlined by “A Place to Be”, performed by the ensemble cast.

4. The Runarounds

The Runarounds band members William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zende Murdock, and Jesse Golliher were all handpicked by the show’s creator Jonas Pate after an open music casting. The entire soundtrack for the eight episode season was written and performed by the cast/band, including both original songs and tunes from familiar names in music, including Led Zeppelin and Green Day. And what’s even better is The Runarounds have brought their talents off screen and into real life, and will be heading on tour in 2026.

5. Snow White

Featuring new and old original songs, the live-action Snow White is a retelling of the Brothers Grimm fairytale, as a princess joins forces with seven dwarfs and a group of rebels to liberate her kingdom from her cruel stepmother the Evil Queen. Featuring a powerful performance from Rachel Zegler as Snow White and musical numbers from Gal Gadot, the Evil Queen herself, the soundtrack gives a fun modern edge to a classic. We even chatted with young Snow White Emilia Faucher earlier this year who revealed what she learned from Rachel and Gal.
