With 2025 inching closer and closer to its conclusion, and 2026 just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to take a trip down memory lane and remember what an incredible year it was in entertainment. As we reflect on this year, Young Entertainment has found and highlighted some of the best Young Adult entertainment content we could find. Whether through films, television shows or music, every genre plays an integral part in the lives of Young Adults, which is why YE wants to celebrate it. So, without further ado, here is YE’s Top 5 Lists of 2025.
2025 was a year for the record books, with films breaking multiple box office and streaming records. From adaptations to sequels and everything in between, here were our top 5 films of the year:
1. Superman
Starring David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan, set within a new DC universe, Superman follows Superman himself and his personal quest to understand his alien Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as mild mannered Clark Kent. Things get complicated when Lex Luthor frames Superman for an international incident, but with help from Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen and the Justice Hang, he must embrace his past and become the hero to stop Luther’s plot and save the world. Under director James Gunn’s direction, the film became one of the highest rated Superman films in decades for its human-centered storytelling and emotional depth, with powerful performances from Corenswet and Brosnahan.
2. Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires
In Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, Zed and Addison discover the warring worlds of Sunnyside and Shadyside on a summer road trip during their first year of college, encountering new groups of monsters. The core cast returned for the film, including Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Malachi Barton, Freya Skye, and more. We also had the chance to chat with both Sway Bhatia and MK this year to learn more about their incredible experiences on set and also test out some potential Zombies 5 fan theories.
3. Regretting You
Based on the 2019 book of the same name by Colleen Hoover, Regretting You follows Morgan Grant, a young mother who puts her ambitions on hold to raise her teenage daughter Clara. But when a family tragedy puts a strain on their relationship, they need to figure out how to navigate life together. With a star studded cast featuring Alison Williams, Mckenna Grace, Mason Thames, and Dave Franco, the film explores family dynamics, grief and healing, with a powerful soundtrack featuring Role Model and The Killers. We even got exclusives with both Mckenna and Alison to learn more about their mother/daughter chemistry on set.
4. Sidelined 2: Intercepted
Starring Noah Beck and Siena Agudong, Sidelined 2: Intercepted, follows Dallas as she chases her dancer dreams but begins to question the future she thought she wanted. Freshman quarterback Drayton struggles with the weight of expectations and as their high school relationship begins to unravel, they’ll learn the bravest versions of themselves emerge when life redirects them. We had the chance to interview director Justin Wu and cast members Roan Curtis, Drew Ray Tanner, Charlie Gillespie, and Siena to learn more about casting and how much Noah has grown as an actor.
5. My Fault: London
Become one of Prime Video’s most successful international films of all time? Check. In My Fault: London, Noah moves from Florida to a mansion in England after her mother marries Nick’s father. Despite their efforts against it, an attraction between Nick and Noah ensues but when Noah’s father is released from prison, she will be forced to deal with her difficult past while falling in love for the first time. The film stars rising stars Asha Banks and Matthew Broome and is an adaptation of the 2023 Spanish language film My Fault. We learned more about Asha and Matthew’s experiences filming together when we chatted with them earlier this year.
