JUPITER ASCENDING

Summed up as:
The gorgeous Mila Kunis headlines this fantasy sci-fi epic from the Wachowski siblings, makers of The Matrix.

Weirdest thing in the trailer:Channing Tatum with fairy ears. We’ll say it again: Channing Tatum with fairy ears!!

Don’t Miss: Douglas Booth (Romeo and Juliet) and Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables) as the quasi-British lackadaisical villains.

Why we’re concerned:Jupiter’s release date has been pushed back at least once already. The film was completed quite a while ago…delays like this usually mean one thing only. And it’s not good.

BIG HERO 6
Summed up as:
A visually marvelous unlikely-hero story from the Disney animators behind Wreck-It Ralph and some movie named Frozen

Coolest and Weirdest thing about the trailer:Baymax, the big white robot guy. He’s either going to be the funniest character ever or a total miss.

What we can’t wait for: The new visuals in this movie, bringing animation production values up a notch.

Worth seeing opening weekend? We think so!

HOLIDAYSBURGH
Summed up as:
The post-college-grad-visiting-home-for-the-holidays movie has been done a few times already, but perhaps not this well. And not with such consistently cute unknown actors!

Weirdest thing about the trailer: How the romantic leads keep bumping into each other, in cars and out.

Best Line in the trailer: “In second grade I was sent home from school for humping a Teletubby. But in college, nobody knows that….”

Worth seeing opening weekend? We’ll see…

LAGGIES
Summed up as:
A festival entry about an aimless would-be newlywed (Keira Knightley) who strikes up a somewhat aimless friendship with high schooler Chloe Grace Moretz to avoid the demands of growing up.

Most impressive thing in the trailer: Keira’s believable American accent.

Best thing in the trailer: Sam Rockwell (The Way Way Back), #obvs.

Worth seeing opening weekend? We already caught it at Sundance, and didn’t enjoy at all. Sorry, Chloe!

OUIJA
Summed up as:
We could be presidents of the Darren Kagasoff fan club. Watch the SLOTAM star get into supernatural trouble in this average-looking horror flick!

Most disappointing thing about the trailer: They had to go ahead and put a creepy doll in there somewhere.

Worth seeing opening weekend? Halloween is in less than a month, so why not?!
