Silent Machine by Cat Power featured
on Gossip Girl “It’s Really Complicated”

Cat Power’s haunting voice provides amazing contrast to the Archibald punch on last week’s Gossip Girl Ep 6X08 “It’s Really Complicated.” The guitar baseline and tambourine really accentuate what’s going on between the groups and Power’s plea to “Turn Around” is especially apt here.

Holy Night by Glee Cast featured
on Glee “Swan Song”

Glee is obviously a gem for TV Tunes,
however the show really shines with
featuring Broadway heavyweight Lea
Michelle as Rachel Berry. Holy Night is
perfectly themed for the upcoming holiday
season and as part of Rachel’s actual
Swan Song….and her vocals are beautifully
supported by the orchestral composition.

Blind (Salva Remix) by Rainbow
Arabia featured on Arrow “Vendetta”

Arrow is resplendent with young, pretty things going to fun, glamorous events and the restaurant opening in the Arrow episode, “Vendetta” is no different. Small wonder, then, that a bumping, up tempo jam by Rainbow Arabia is feature when Oliver & Helena bump into Laurel & Tommy while waiting to be seated. If awkward, at least they have good music to listen to.

Let It Go by Dragonette featured on Vampire Diaries “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street”

Dragonette’s Let It Go is perfect music to
get up and dance to. Apparently Elena,
Bonnie, and Caroline on the Vampire
Diaries agree with me as this is the
backing track to their uber-girly dance party
in last week’s episode “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street.” There’s not much more
you could ask for out of a dance party tune
— Dragonette delivers and will surely be the backing track at many a slumber party to
come.
