Andrew Belle – Wants What It Wants // Pretty Little Liars, Season 5 Episode 6

This track plays as Caleb tries to persuade Hanna to go to the authorities after the explosion at the Cavanaugh house. It’s a discordant, unsettling track that fits in well with the frightened mood of the scene. Andrew Belle, aka Drew Forston, is an all American boy who splits his time between Chicago and Nashville. This track was pulled off his second studio album, Black Bear.

Bess Rogers – Anchor // Chasing Life, Season 1 Episode 6

This track plays as April hops on the back of Leo’s bike and they ride off. It’s a carefree kind of track, the kind that sounds like it might be played by a band of gypsies. It’s ACTUALLY played by New Yorker Bess Rogers, who comes from Long Island, so not quite a gypsy. She plays a lot in New York so if you’re ever in the city, check her out!

Riley and the Roxies – Twisted American Girl // Chasing Life, Season 1 Episode 6

This song is playing at Greer’s place as she hosts her house party. It’s rousing indie rock from Riley and the Roxies, which is actually just one man, Spencer Riley, who is based out of LA, and whose music has also been featured on Pretty Little Liars and Underemployed.

The Bones of JR Jones – Ticket Home // Under the Dome, Season 2 Episode 3

This song plays as Jim gets a good old-fashioned close shave from Lyle. Ticket Home is good old-fashioned country music so it all makes perfect sense. Bones’ real name is Jonathon Linaberry and before becoming a folk sensation he was (whisper it) a punk rocker. He released a new album, Dark was the Yearling, in May.

Tiesto and Showtek – Hell Yeah! // Teen Wolf , Season 4 Episode 4

This is the song playing as Mason and co. get the party started at Lydia’s place. Tiesto has a pretty good track record for rousing electronica and the producers of the show recognize this. Tiesto has been around for donkey’s years and has remixed everyone from Goldfrapp to Katy Perry to Kanye West, as well as releasing 40+ singles of his own and providing tracks for the screen for everything from Coke commercials to the soundtrack of Mission Impossible 4.
