Twisted really lives up to its name, especially in the most recent episode.
We start this week by heating things up in the bedroom…hello MO sesh. Later, he agrees to a secret date at McNally Park. It’s ruined, though, when a bunch of people dressed as Danny show up. Which is totally weird and cannot be overstated HOW WEIRD THIS IS.
Danny gets rid of the fake Danny’s but it’s no use. The mood is gone and Lacey is weirded out, as she should be. She tells Danny that they need to slow down. Ouch, Danny, ouch.
The fake Danny masked troops aren’t the only problems on Danny’s radar this week. He and Karen also found their yard littered with red jump ropes. Wouldn’t be that weird, except it’s the kind he supposedly used to kill Aunt Tara with…Whoda thunk a childhood game could turn so dark?
In news that surprises no one, Rico still likes Jo. Jo just can’t spot it. Ahh young love is blind. She wants to confess her true feelings to Danny even. Poor Rico.
Tyler shows up to talk to Danny about doing a documentary on his return to real life after his on the inside…the conversation inevitably takes a turn to Jo. Thankfully, through this conversation, Jo learns to take a hint. That hint lands her squarely in Tyler’s arms, though. Poor Rico again!
Danny ends up having a party. All would be good….but the Danny impostors show up and rain on the parade. It’s revealed that Tyler set the whole thing up… Why?? To help prove Danny’s innocence and that he’s actually the victim. There are easier ways to go about that, but I digress. Rico gets pretty drunk and Jo takes him home. While they’re gone, Danny and Lacey start to heat things up again…but this time it’s caught on tape from an unknown viewer outside… WHAT IS HAPPENING ABC FAMILY? IS THIS PRETTY LITTLE LIARS OR TWISTED??
High school drama aside, Karen and Mr. Masterson are up to their elbows dealing with the actual murder. Kyle finally found the necklace in the creek after Rico’s tip off. Karen tried to lie … to little avail. By the end of the episode Karen is back in Kyle’s office — confessing to the murder of Regina. Did she really do it, though? We’ll have to wait and see.
