Sony Pictures has announced that there will be two more films based in the Spider-Man universe following the slated June 2016 release of The Amazing Spider-Man 3. The two additional films will focus on two of Spider-Man’s villains: one film on Venom, the other on Sinister Six. The writers of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, have been tagged to write Venom and Drew Goddard, best known for Cabin in the Woods, has signed on to write Sinister Six.
It looks like Spider-Man fans and movie-goers have a lot to look forward to in the coming years, including next year’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Check out the trailer below:
