Taylen Biggs has captivated audiences at just 11 years old with her pro interviewing skills, viral moments, her fashion style, and big dreams. We Facetimed with Taylen to learn more about how she got started in the entertainment industry, behind-the-scenes moments of some of her most iconic interviews, and her budding acting career!
Taylen’s career in the spotlight began at just 18 months old, when she was cast in a photoshoot for the Kardashian’s kids clothing line. And at just 3 years old, she walked for Sherri Hill during New York Fashion Week. When the pandemic hit, Taylen began building her social media following, and now boasts over 3 million combined followers on Instagram and TikTok.
Taylen got her start interviewing stars at New York Fashion Week, and has since interviewed the biggest names at the Golden Globes, the Grammys, the Met Gala, and more. She has interviewed singers, actors, actresses, and fashion icons, including Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Cardi B. and Travis Kelce.
It is clear Taylen loves what she does, and she told us that she just naturally enjoys talking to people and building connections with them.
“My mom always tells me before I leave to ‘shine from within.’”
Interviewing is an art in itself, and Taylen said tone, delivery, and confidence are all equally important as an interviewer. But the biggest tip from Taylen is research, research, research! Studying up on the people you interview and finding ways to relate to them before meeting them will make you that much more prepared. Also, Taylen said being nervous is totally normal, and it shows how much you care!
“I always like to get to know a little more before I interview someone so I can relate to them better and connect with them.”
In addition to interviewing some of the biggest fashionistas, Taylen is a fashion icon herself and said her biggest fashion tip is being yourself and being comfortable.
We had to ask Taylen about some of her most iconic interviews. She said she felt at home and so safe while talking with Selena Gomez and even shared a hilarious BTS moment during her interview with Kris Jenner. Ariana Grande even had a fangirl moment with Taylen!
“I was so grateful for this crazy and amazing moment [to interview Selena Gomez]”
Taylen also has big dreams of one day being on the big screen. She made her acting debut in Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, and said she loves being able to play different people and also use her researching skills to craft characters.
“Meeting one of my favorite people and seeing them on the carpet so many times at such a young age and finally meeting them was such a big deal for me, such a surreal moment.”
Taylen wants others who watch her interviews to feel inspired and uplifted by them. She loves to create stories and connections with the stars. Taylen’s vision board and manifestation skills are inspiring!
“I want the stories to lift people.”

- Whether it’s prepping for an interview or an acting role, do your research! You need to know who the person you are talking to is or if there is any prior background on a character you’re playing.
