Most visible, though, is her performance as Amy in the upcoming film The Gambler, opposite Mark Wahlberg and the inimitable Jessica Lange. With major presence in the trailer, Brie looks to be pulling more than her weight in this film, and we can’t wait to see it. On top of this most recent development, the actress is currently in production with two other titles, Room and historical drama Brooklyn Bridge.
We are excited to watch Brie’s star continue to ascend!

Garnering the young actress much praise and eventually some Oscar buzz, Brie’s role as Grace, the troubled but determined main caretaker at a foster center dealing with her own childhood monsters, was a star-making performance. Since Short Term, she has selected some incredibly plum featured roles so as to remain more than relevant, by far the best being her near-wordless performance as Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s sister in the excellent Don Jon (#scenestealer!). Also, let’s not forget her highly visible supporting role in The Spectacular Now opposite Miles Teller, and as Rachel in the recently resuscitated TV series Community.
