Each year, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) holds March Madness, where 64 Division I men’s and women’s basketball teams compete in a single elimination tournament to determine the national champions. We created our own version using some of the best current teen relationships seen on TV or in movies to place our bets on. Pick the ships that matter most to you, that have you inspired for love or for the ideal of love. Tune in every Monday to pick your brackets to see which love prevails.

Victor/Nova vs. Belly/Conrad
Both of these couples overcome conflict to come together. For Nova and Victor, it’s nightwalkers vs daywalkers. For Belly and Conrad, it’s family tension and the fear of sharing your full self. But both of them realize that it’s worth it to put their heart on the line. Which couple would you fight till the end for?
Victor and Nova- Zombies 4 AKA Novictor
At the Blood Fruit Orchard gate, after first sharing dreams and visions of each other, Victor and Nova lock eyes and immediately recognize each other and their stories, their eyes and hearts lighting up. This first meeting set the stage for the emotional and intense journey they go on together. Cue “Dream Come True.”

Belly and Conrad- TSITP AKA Bonrad
Now who could forget the beach scene for Belly and Conrad in season 3. As Conrad drops his walls and runs after Belly, pleading with her to not marry Jeremiah, confessing that he still and always will love her. This moment turned the tides and forced Belly to finally confront her true feelings.
Zed/Addison vs. Percy/Annabeth
Both of these couples prove that it doesn’t need to be immediate romance, but long lasting love can come from a deep bond built on trust, respect and the willingness to do anything to keep each other safe. From the entirety of the Zombies franchise to the book to TV adaptation of Percy Jackson, both of these couples keep us invested. Which one leaves you feeling inspired?
Zed and Addison- Zombies AKA Zeddison
After falling ill in Zombies 4, Zed recovers after the power sources are restored, and he reunites with Addison on the hill, promising their commitment to each other. They share a dance together as their true authentic selves and perform “Ain’t No Doubt About It”, mirroring their very first nostalgic “Someday”, four Zombies movies later.
Vs.
Percy and Annabeth- Percy Jackson and the Olympians AKA Percabeth
After Annabeth is lured by the sirens, Percy saves her by dragging her underwater, where the song cannot be heard, shielding her from seeing her fatal flaw. When he asks her what she saw, he says “just you. If you weren’t there, who knows what I would’ve seen, but it’s like you shielded me. You saved me.” Percy and Annabeth are truly willing to put their lives on the line to be each other’s protector.
