From what was found with her connections lies the mysterious citywide fires, the downtown music scene with her friend’s band, and a curious connection with a wealthy, uptown family whose fraying under the many secrets they keep hidden. Set to release under Apple TV+, this show was also advertised to be under the care of the Executive Producers who worked on the shows Gossip Girl and The O.C.
Speaking of the origins and inspiration of the City on Fire, the show takes inspiration from the book of the same name! This book was considered to be a New York Times Notable Book. It was named one of the Best Books of the Year at the time by notable newspapers.
