We chat all about our favorite moments and songs from the movie, and Casey shares his experience working with the Jonas Brothers and Malachai Barton.

Mordechai: “I had a lot of anticipation for Camp Rock 3.”
Following Camp Rock (2008) and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010), Camp Rock 3 follows Connect 3 as they lose their opening act for a major reunion tour. Among campers like Sage, Desi, Rosie, and others, the competition to win the coveted spot sparks rivalries and romances as everyone fights to stand out. The Jonas Brothers return to reprise their roles, and the movie also stars Liamani Segura, Malachai Barton, and more!
When Camp Rock 3 was originally announced, all the nostalgia from the first two movies came back! Mordechai even revealed that in preparation to watch the new movie, he rewatched the first two Camp Rock films.
There were so many aspects of the third movie that both Mordechai and Daniella loved and think new and original Disney Channel fans will fall in love with. Daniella loved the choreography and even the ways the cameras shot the movie, as it made you feel like you were a camper yourself!
Daniella: “The camera goes toward them as they were dancing and you almost feel like you are in the movie.”
Mordechai also praised Liamani Segura’s performance, as she plays Sage, for her effortless talent and voice.
Mordechai: “I love every scene Liamani is in.”
While there are many new songs that capture the new characters and their friendships and romances, some of the original songs are brought back. We also debate whether Camp Rock 3 has the ability to be a Disney Channel classic. With great music, a rising star cast, and characters that people can relate to, you’ll have to watch to see for yourself!
Daniella: “This cast transcends time.”
We are then joined by the incredibly talented Casey Trotter, who plays Cliff, to chat about his wild audition process for the role, what it was like filming the bus and paint fight scenes. Casey also reveals what it was like working with the Jonas Brothers, who helped to build this franchise, and star Malachai Barton, who he learned a lot from.
Casey: “Even though we were working, we did make it feel like we were at camp.”
Casey was such a joy to chat with, and we can’t wait for everyone to see this movie. Make sure to follow him on his Instagram at @casey_trotter_official.
