This American comedy series has a bit of a darker tone to it, but it’s a series that has everyone excited for what’s coming next. The televised series focuses on the book series written by Chris P. Flesh and features cast members such as Eliana Su’a, Kyan Samuels, Leah Mei Gold, our interviewee Yuvi Hecht and a few others. The story follows Frankie Ripp, who despite having a wonderful life, suddenly gets killed in a freak accident. Upon getting into a heated debate with the Grim Reaper, the Reaper eventually lets Frankie leave, under the condition that she must be accompanied by the Underworld guardians Pretty and Scary. To keep living her life, Frankie must complete a series of tasks given to her by the reaper, all while keeping her a secret from the populace.

The writer who originally wrote the series is Chris P. Flesh. Not much is known about the writer as Chris P. Flesh is a pen name, but Flesh is the writer of the Pretty Freekin Scary series. There are only four books out in the series, but whether these four books will be covered in the show is left for debate.

And now, here is some information on Yuvi Hecht! A young actor who starred in award-winning short films such as The Unicorn Sisters and For The Boys, Yuvi started his acting career at a fairly young age and has featured in: The Unicorn Sisters as Mike, The Walk as Cameron, For the Boys as Ethan, and is more primarily known for his role as Erlic in Pretty Freekin Scary.

We first ask Yuvi how he initially started to act. Yuvi answered that he didn’t at first. He remembered that he was in the car, and the radio was playing an advertisement for auditions for a short film with former Nickelodeon and Disney actors and actresses, and he gave it a shot. Yuvi auditioned, was accepted, and went to Hollywood with his sister for ten days and filmed the short film. He went through the whole red carpet event and movie premiere and mentioned how he managed to get a grasp of the industry and fell in love with it. From there, he kept the ball rolling by taking classes and auditions. From there, the rest was history.

When asked how Pretty Freekin Scary came into his life, Yuvi answered that his manager was the one who arranged the audition. Yuvi first mentioned how he did auditions for at least two years during COVID, and upon receiving the audition for Pretty Freekin Scary, he was ecstatic and was determined to get a role. He initially auditioned for two characters and received a callback for Dio, but was told he would be a better fit for Erlic. From there, he auditioned for Erlic and received a callback after. Consider This:

-Consider finding what’s common between you and your character so you can bring your character to life.

-One way to memorize your lines is to take one specific line and, depending on how many sentences there are, add one more sentence and keep going from there.
