You read that right – the hit Disney Channel musical Zombies is getting a sequel!

Zombies premiered on Disney Channel last year. The movie musical stars Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim. The movie is about a zombie football player named Zed and human cheerleader named Addison who meet and fall in love, and who must lead their respective groups to coexist with each other.

This week, Disney Channel and that stars of Zombies announced that a sequel is happening! Not much is known about the upcoming movie, but Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim will both return for the sequel.

Production on the Disney Channel Original Movie will begin this spring. Also, a release date for the sequel has not yet been announced.
