Cult is a bit of a leap for the CW, invoking meta-tactics seen on Smash (show within a show). The series follows Jeff (Matt Davis), a journalist blogger, and Skye (Jessica Lucas), a production assistant on a popular television crime series called Cult, as they investigate the fans of the series, who could be re-creating the crimes committed on the series. Sort of a roman a clef – with Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage behind this expect to hear lots of great music, see lots of beautiful youngsters and loads of salacious yet stylish crime fighting.
